are your products 100% vegan?
tmf. is 95% vegan. we clearly state to our retail partners and customers that our mascara and lip gloss’ contain a small percentage of beeswax used as an emollient.
is your brand certified organic?
our ingredients are certified organic, but our brand is not. this certification is unnecessary for the brand. we are confident the ingredients used to make our products are organic and of the highest quality.
where are your products made?
90% made in australia and 10% in america.
are your products 100% natural?
as natural as we can make them without reducing efficacy and longevity of the product. we choose natural preservatives whenever possible and none of our ingredients are harmful chemicals.
are your products 100% cruelty free?
absolutely 100% cruelty free… and always have been since the brand’s inception in 2013. we have not, and will not, ever test on animals.
do you use silicone in your products?
silicone is used minimally (under 3%) in the liquid foundations ‘dream conceal’, ‘vegan skin perfector’, ‘pureskin glow’ and ‘pureskin base’ ONLY.
silicone is derived from a natural product called silica, also known as basic sand.
studies show that silicone is 100% safe for use on the skin.
a small % of silicone allows for a professional grade product without compromising our ethics.
do you use preservatives in your products?
yes, we use natural preservatives in the products wherever possible such as rosemary oil, vitamin e and grapefruit seed extract.
in some cases, we do use an antibacterial preservative ‘methylchloroisothiazolinone’ also referred to as MCI which is a preservative that guards against the growth of many dangerous forms of bacteria and other microorganisms that grow in unpreserved cosmetic products. MCI allows for a professional grade product without compromising our ethics.
